So we've got Brondby tomorrow. Any ideas who isn't back from their holidays yet and not back in training?

Will this be the youth team + players that didn't go to the world cup?

No idea if we'll get a stream for it.

LIVERPOOL SQUAD: Jones, Agger, Coutinho, Lucas, Allen, Ilori, Borini, Suso, Ibe, Kelly, Coady, Skrtel, Flanagan, Adorjan, Smith, Phillips, Rossiter, Wisdom, Jones, Ward, Teixeira, Peterson, Stewart.

None of the new players, just the kids out really then.
Hopefully Illori/Ibe/Suso get a start.

Big day for Rossiter too. A big performance from him and he might just find himself building momentum preseason for push into the match day squad.

Adorjan playing up front?? That shows just how thin our squad is when it comes to genuine forwards. Oh well, it'll be interesting too see Rossiter show what he can do, and I hope that Peterson really pushes on this season.

Unfortunately, I wont get to see this - I have decided to decorate the living room today, and I'm afraid I cant pass up an opportunity to watch the paint dry

I'm surprised that Dunn hasn't made the trip, but I suppose the real pre-season stretch is in the US. I think Adorjan and Peterson will probably be trying to catch the eyes of scouts, either for a loan or a permanent move in Adorjan's case.

With the likes of Sterling, Ibe and now Markovic in front of him, it's going to be really hard for Peterson to make it at the club as a wide forward in the next few seasons. Of course he's still young and can still improve, but unfortunately for him, so are the other three. And then there's Kent and Wilson coming up as well. If he gets a loan out and makes a name for himself, maybe he'll play himself into Rodgers' plans. Played a half dozen games in a month out on loan to Tranmere in League One last season, so hopefully, he'll get a proper season's loan out this time, hopefully to a club at a higher level.

I thought Adorjan had left already... possibly just wishful thinking on my part.

Looking forward to this, in spite of the fact it's not likely to be very entertaining.

Other than Borini there isn't anyone else in the 22 that can .. so I'm just guessing that they'll play a different 11 each half.

He was on loan at Groningen but they don't want him. He got sent off a few times.

Edit - or maybe just once. Sure it was more. He did not play that much though.
