So yesterday I was reversing out of my drive when my fucking sandal got caught under the accelerator and I whizzed into my neighbours porch. No damage to her pad but my back end is pretty fucked, Mainly on the left side. It still drives fine and I guess I could gaffer tape the body work up. Thing is how do I go about the insurance? I mean it was my fault but I could just say someone crashed into me in a car park or something while I was in the shops. I've never claimed before so not entirely sure how it works. Any tips greatly appreciated. You can take the piss out of the fact I was wearing sandals if you like
