The fact remains that he is not really 'fat' at all, hes got big bones, is a bit hairy, and hes not one for the sit ups.

A FURTHER move by Liverpool to capture Charlie Adam has been rejected by Blackpool.

The ECHO can exclusively reveal that the Reds made a fresh approach for the Tangerines playmaker last night.

The figure is not yet confirmed, but it is understood to be comfortably improved on the £4m offered to the Tangerines a week ago.

I would be happy with Adams for now, he will no doubt still be a good squad player when we do buy a young DM and we can get rid of Lucas and Poulsen.

"Proof" may be overdoing it a bit, but I do think the way they've been willing to increase our bids makes it look more likely.
