We need a large squad. Meireles, Lucas, Adam, Poulsen are competing for 2 spots.

As much as I like Adam, I think Krissr has a point. We need a centre half who can head, a left back and a new Mascher/Didi type.
It's got to be at least partly the issue. NESV obv.have money, but not enough to be able to afford to chuck it around like confetti even if they wanted to. We can spend big now, but it has to be worthwhile if we do.

It does though, why spend 10m on someone where we don't need a player in that position ? it's what we've been doing for years buying squad players, we should be buying 1st team players not squad players

At left back we have Aurelio and an out of position Johnson.
I'm deeply worried about our ability to head the fucking ball at centre half when Carra is injured.
And our 'defensive' midfielders are Lucas and Poulsen.
All I'm saying is my priority would not be Adam.
Although I like him.
