Did you see Carruthers last run ? Stunning.

Cooldine was off the bridle very early in his last race, but battled hard to win at Leopardstown that day. It was only over 2m 5 though and I'm not sure he's ever proved he gets this trip, that's the main reason I've gone away from him.

I can't look past the mullins horses for the bumper Dave, torn between Sicilian Secret and Quel Esprit. Stuck with Paddy Mullins cos his record is excellent this year

Yeah as usual the bumper is a tight affair. Ruby is on Quel Esprit and he has had a bit of money come in for it.

What's the general consensus of Master Minded... Piss in or shock defeat??

He's got to piss in.

If anyone gets close to him I'll be surprised.
[/quote]

Hard to back at that price though. Might just avoid.

Oh yeah, I won't be putting anything on that race.

I just checked out Cooldine, he has actually won over the trip. So maybe I need to reconsider

It worries me that the current bottom placed person has gone with 3 of my selections today! I was going to do Great Endeavour too.

Good first race there.

Tircky Trickster looked dead and buried coming around the corner with Can't Buy Time and Drumconvis closing in, but he pulled away up the hill.

Can't Buy Time didn't get up the hill at all and I think he got beaten into fourth

oops, missed the first race........................

2:05 Realt Dubh
2:40 What a friend
3:20 Briareus
4:00 Great Endeavour
4:40 Amore Mio
5:15 Sicilian Secret

Another good race, Mikael D'haguenet won it. He got ahead with a furlong to go, didn't jump the last well and looked like he might get caught up the hill by Karabak. Diamond Harry was in with a chance until he went sideways across the final fence.

I hadn't realised that Alex Ferguson owns What a Friend.

For thos not watching Willie Mullins was just interviewed and said Cooldine is his biggest hope today, but Meath All Star could be a big price option for the Bumper if the ground continues to dry out.

Feck it i was sure i'd put drumconvis in the first. Oh well I backed him each way anyway. Also thought I didnt put Mikael D'Haguenet. I'm in far too many of these competition things
