WASHINGTON — Tens of millions of doses of the coronavirus vaccine made by the British-Swedish company AstraZeneca are sitting idly in American manufacturing facilities, awaiting results from its U.S. clinical trial while countries that have authorized its use beg for access.

The fate of those doses of AstraZeneca’s vaccine is the subject of an intense debate among White House and federal health officials, with some arguing the administration should let them go abroad where they are desperately needed while others are not ready to relinquish them, according to senior administration officials.

AstraZeneca is involved in those conversations.

“We understand other governments may have reached out to the U.S. government about donation of AstraZeneca doses, and we’ve asked the U.S. government to give thoughtful consideration to these requests,” said Gonzalo Viña, a spokesman for AstraZeneca.

About 30 million doses are currently bottled at AstraZeneca’s facility in West Chester, Ohio, which handles “fill-finish,” the final phase of the manufacturing process during which the vaccine is placed in vials, one official with knowledge of the stockpile said
 
Why would the management at the packaging plant have done all the research and gone ahead will all the validation and equipment procurement, only to fill finish a bunch of vaccines that haven't even been approved for sale? Seems like a financially suicidal decision. Most strange. Well thankfully for the general public, Astra Zeneca decided to make an irrational inexplicable business decision of their own volition. Personally if it was my money invested, I'd have waited until the clinical trials and pilot scale trials were completed before investing a single cent on such a project.

Here's the maths for you (USA): 1 in 4,000 per annum die of DVT/PE in an average year. 1 in 33 million has so far been suspected (claimed) to have died from a thrombosis caused by a CV19 vaccine.

According to your 'maths', when you extrapolate to the end of the year the vaccine drastically reduces the mortality rate!!. It's a cure! By golly you're on to something, we should give everyone who suffers from clots the vaccine which measurably increases viscosity, but numbers don't lie! In spite of the physically increased viscosity the vaccine will statistically reduce the viscosity too. Magic. Must be some quantum mechanical effect at play.

Administration of the Astrazeneca vaccine has been temporarily suspended by the HSE on advice from the National Immunisation Advisory Committee (NIAC) this morning.

This comes following NIAC receiving “new information” from the Norwegian Medicines Agency yesterday of four reports of “serious blood clotting events in adults after vaccination with Covid-19 Vaccine AstraZeneca”.

In a statement from Deputy Chief Medical Officer Dr Ronan Glynn, he confirms the decision was taken in light of this new evidence and following discussions with the Health Products Regulatory Authority (HPRA).
 
If anything the vaccine put his body into a quantum superposition state, if nobody looked at him then he'd still be alive or half alive at least.
 
Speaking on RTÉ Radio One’s This Week, Dr Glynn said that what was particularly striking is that these clots were occurring in younger people.

“Of particular concern are specifically clots in the brain of younger people in their 30s, 40s - that’s unusual,” he said

i can categorically assure you that Dr Grimes is an idiot, he has absolutely no idea how probabilities work, and the information he's conveying there is so ridiculously dumb as to defy belief. I fucking pray his doctorate is in the arts, probably best I don't look into it.
 
AstraZeneca vaccine is suspended in Norway, Denmark and Holland. Here in Norway we've had 3 people under 30 omitted to hospital with blood clots, all in serious condition. There seem to be some correlation between what they are in experiencing in Denmark with what we've seen in Norway.

Holland followed today and suspended vaccination with AZ for 14 days.
 
The reason it seems that way to you, is because your brain has evolved to have an intuatively correct understanding of conditional probability. If for example you couldn't assess the likelihood of a predator jumping out of some long grass and tearing your neck open, then you wouldn't survive very long.

The scientists telling you about correlation and causation and no ethidence are using probability theory that is so simplistic you have to wonder what they got in their gcse's. They are counting things and dividing by the total in essence. On the plains in the old days, these fucking morons would have told you not to worry about the rustling grass it's probably just the wind...

No, there obviously is an issue. The natural death rate due to blood clots is distributed over the year. You could die on any one of the 365 days. The death rate due to blood clots after taking a vaccine is not distributed over the year. This is why you're having to call it a coincidence, because you know something isn't quite natural about it. It's this...

The probability of 4 people dying in a year =/= the probability of 4 people dying a few days after taking the vaccine.

Totally different quantities. You can't compare them. You could theoretically calculate one from the other if you know enough about the science or else have enough data to build out the coupled probability distribution. The scientists whose dicks you all seem so willing to suck these days have not done that calculation. Instead they're comparing two incomparable numbers, because they're dumb.

 
Any correlation between countries with slow vaccinations programmes and ban on AZ?
EU and certain countries in particular have been negative about AZ from the off.
