back-to-back la liga titles. They can try to get Allegri in, but he will change the way they play. They'd be better off getting rid of Valverde first (who should never have been appointed... the 'ol safe pair of hands never works) and seeing what the new manager thinks.
Either way, a disastrous move for him and them.
Straight swap for lallana
The club need to frame this picture and hang it up somewhere as a constant reminder that the grass is not always greener.... Could probably come up with a whole gallery of lads that moved on and never hit the heights they dreamed of. A whole room full of such portraits where anyone wanting away has to sit and ponder - a wobble room for when the faith starts to wobble.Brazil forward Philippe Coutinho, 26, is "not a Barcelona player" and will be the first casualty of their Champions League semi-final defeat by Liverpool. The club's board are also set to meet to decide head coach Ernesto Valverde's future. (ESPN)

Let's be honest, how many hasn't it worked out for these past maybe 20 years...The club need to frame this picture and hang it up somewhere as a constant reminder that the grass is not always greener.... Really hahahaThey never looked really happy though.
So that's a room full of Phil pics ...might give out the wrong message..off to sit in my own wobble room.Let's be honest, how many hasn't it worked out for these past maybe 20 years...
Owen and Coutinho I guess. But Owen got a league title out of it.
The rest, Xabi, Masch, Torres, Suarez, Macca did go on and win shit.
Spot onThe funny thing is, he can be a "Barcelona player" – if given enough patience and support, which seems to be in short supply, particularly among the fans. He was never a "Klopp player," but Klopp managed to integrate him into our system, because he had to. When a club has to deal with limited resources, they don't just throw out talents like that – look at Spurs, how Pochettino due to not being able to sign any players had to find a way to use a "flop" like Sissoko or an initially underwhelming signing like Lucas Moura – and did so.
If Barca fans were willing to be patient with Coutinho, give the coach some space to tweak the system to suit his strengths – they would be rewarded eventually. But they are apparently a bunch of trigger-happy spoiled brats who love to put some players on a pedestal and viciously tear others down and that is going be their weakness and their downfall.
Torres was completely shit, though. He was a shadow of his former self.Let's be honest, how many hasn't it worked out for these past maybe 20 years...

Yeah fuck me he was gash the minute Agger smashed him on his debut for the chavs. Still one of my favourite footy memories.Torres was completely shit, though. He was a shadow of his former self.
Partially the Messi effect, I think. You get so spoiled by brilliance you assume it should be the normThe funny thing is, he can be a "Barcelona player" – if given enough patience and support, which seems to be in short supply, particularly among the fans. Look again at Klopp this season, how he managed to squeeze every bit of value from the fucking Origi and Sturridge.

There is real talent there (same goes for Dembele, who they also want to get rid of, apparently). But they are a bunch of trigger-happy spoiled brats who love to put some players on a pedestal and viciously tear others down and that is going be their weakness and their downfall.
PSG left wing cut inside is Neymar's position surely. Utd is one of the few teams that makes sensePSG? Man United?

In case you were serious....just Torres from that list. They never looked really happy though.
But his defensive game is poor. We always look more solid when he played further forward.True, but then I can't see Neymar staying there much longer. But then that would be such a shame for Coutinho, who keeps missing his beloved friend at club level, like ships in the night.
He played central for us. Surprised Barca didn't give him more of a go there. I actually preferred him there. His lack of pace wasn't as glaring.
