So if the rumours are to be believed we shouldn't expect much in the way of big splurges this summer, with a focus instead of continuing the process of tying in our elite players. There also appears to be a commitment to leaving room for talent to come through from the academy and, perhaps, the group of loanees. Brewster is obviously very highly thought of, and all being well, will breakthrough next year, perhaps initially in the cups. I'm really looking forward to seeing him in preseason, as apart from the odd clip from academy matches, he's a complete enigma. As I've said before, it is time for Lallana to move on, and Wilson surely can provide more support in this squad than him. In tough games we could bring him on as a FK specialist too, as he is quite simply sensational over a dead ball. Does Hoever get a crack next season? Is there room for Grujic in the squad as a dedicated DM back up? Who else has a chance of breaking through into the squad next season?
