When I was 19 I used all the money I'd saved to open a computer game swap shop. For some reason just coz I swapped games, some people used to bring in their old SNES and megadrives that were broke and ask me to fix them. I had this wicked technique of leaving them in the corner for a week and seeing if they worked. They normally did. I don't know why that was but they nornally just sorted themeselves out. That cost twenty quid. When that didn't work I'd go to Argos and buy a new one and then swap the box and take it back for my no quibbles 16 day money back guarantee. That cost 40 quid, but most people were delighted that I'd not only fixed their SNES but made it look like new as well.
