Nah. The Greek is gonna be gone.

Good to see transfers been completed fairly quickly. Hopefully most of our business is done a couple of weeks before the start of the season.
 
Good move .... Roy said we would move quickly in the market this season and there are plenty of signs of that happening. We need to if we are going to have any 1st teamers available for the first leg EL match. At least we know Cole will be a definite starter !

I liked him, Carra seemed to have to guide him through alot of games last season though, but his passion was endearing and he was a powerhouse in the air.

Still only 4th choice though and I'd rather have a young guy who has been tipped for greatness in that #4 slot.

Recent reports seem to be suggesting so mate, it could be down to the player though, who knows.
 
All this increased transfer activity is strange. Would it be possible that a deal for club has concluded? Would it need to announced straight away. I just get the feeling that it won't be announced so clubs don't try and fleece us , play the skint card get most of the targets sealed then announce the sale.
 
Didn't one of the reports today suggest that Cole was 'impressed with the way the club was going', or words to that effect?

Well we haven't spent anything have we so I don't think it's a sign we're secretly loaded.

But wasn't this deal originally scraped because we had to spend money elsewhere, its not exactly a priority area.

The deal is apparently 2 mil rising to 5

I still don't see why some people see him as a striker, he was utterly clueless every single time I've seen him play upfront. I actually prefer Ngog there and I don't rate him one bit.
Ideally we'd sell him for 9-11M Brum allegedly offered but I guess I can live with him being third choice LW/RW.
 
Some Rangers guy on SSN says Wilson now is better than the greek ever was, apparently they fucking hate Zorba though.
 
Just read this from the admin on one Rangers site...

Wilson is certainly one of the best talents to come out of Scotland in years - Liverpool have an absolute bargain if they end up paying the full 5m for him, nevermind 2m. Old head on young shoulders, he is a cracking prospect waddy.
