Determination of Harvey Elliott

We need him. He was selected for Chelsea over Hendo for a reason – not because of the offensive contribution, but because he runs and presses more and covers more ground. If he can do that and start adding goals and assists, he'll be huge for us.

He was already on a bike a week ago. That's impressive – I would think it means he'll be on the grass in a few weeks and in team training a month after that. Those young kids heal quickly!

Outrageous that he’s on a bike already. Fantastic to see. His injury gave me a worse feeling than probably any since Fowler did his knee.

Zero chance he makes it back before the new year. Only footage we've seen is him on a bike, there's probably 3-4 months of rehab ahead of him
Yep this is all part of the rehab process.
He'll be back sometime after new year.

Anyway Boxing Day is 2 1/2 months away. So not too far off the start of 3 months window. I’m sticking to Boxing Day.

yeh I’m gonna have Boxing Day too, i defo think it’s possible,Realise it could be a long shot and he has to have some time to gel ,back at full training with the others..
But…if it doesn’t happen then it won’t be long after 😉 so win win !

Looks good treadmill in water, I've never seen one before,
If it helps and I’m sure it does, then big result !

I think the more significant thing is that he isn't wearing any buoyancy aids and the water's not to full shoulder height, so he's starting to put a bit more pressure on the joint. I imagine lower water levels will probably be the next step for him (usually these pools have adjustable floors as well as the underwater treadmills) and then out of the pool all together.
I love this kid's attitude. We've seen lots of players down the years with talent and poor attitude, and they always fail. He's going to make it, just hope it's with us.

Great to see, just hope we don't rush him back. If we can keep a good front three injury free Jan onwards and are able to get Elliot back into midfield it could really see us dominate towards the end of the season.

A flagrant waste of water. Unless it's sustainable water, in fact it is probably sourced from the docks to keep our carbon footprint as low as possible. He'll be lucky not to be paralysed from the neck down, nevermind being back for boxing day.

Is that a treadmill in water?! The futures now.

Don't see no treadmill.

I think the reality is that his legs are fucked to the point he's too slow for the human eye to detect. He's probably still on his way out the gym as I type this.

Why didn't they pose with his shirt before the next game like Brazil did for Neymar?
