Hmmmmmm
I wonder who there manager will be this time next year then.

edit two year contract, at least the pay-off won't be as large as usual

It's got Dalglish mark II all over it, which is good for us.

It will not be nowhere near as bad, because they can afford the worlds best talent, but it's still the outcome I was hoping for.

di matteo really really reminds me of something that was probably on the telly from my childhood. i fear it might be racist when i finally find out what it is.

Thank god, i was worried they would get a better manager with all that talent.

He looks *exactly* like a lad that I work with, to the extent that when he was manager of MK Dons he'd get people coming up and asking to shake his hand, and if he's in London people shout "DI MATTEO!" at him.

Personally, I'd lord it up and try and blag as much stuff as I could

If he is a place holder for Pep, then this is a surprisingly long term outlook on things by Abramovich. Now he has the European cup is he playing the long term game?

Nah, he just wants to be seen to have the very best of everything. So if pep isn't ready for two years he'll wait so he is seen to have the very best.

The fact he fits into Kenyons long term plan for Chelsea will have helped too, he's banged on about bringing youth players through for donkeys.
