Well I doubt Gray is on 1.7m a year at TalkShite.

I remember BRazil telling the listeners he was on £200K a year live on his show so I doubt it.

What show are they doing?

Stu- It's available through the internet.

You're just not trying hard enough !

I think they're doing 10-1.00pm, mid-morning.
[/quote]

oh so bye bye blueshite porky parry.

That show used to be ace when Andy Townsend did it, even know PArry is a knob he was funny with Andy. The Mike Graham duo has been shit.

I wonder if they will do current affairs as well like the current show or just footy.

Very predictable of course but it will be a good listen I bet.

Talksport goes from strength to strength, fair doo to them their listening numbers are amazing now

They'll be competing with Loose Women 😱

apparently porky parry has quit, must have been pissed off. What the fuck will H&J do for their clips of the week

Exactly what I was thinking, Jon Fox.

It's going to be a Brazil monoploy from now on.

I'm actually going to miss that mental case, with his hair-brained notions, example- Mankind will evolve to a point where someone will, eventually, run the 100m sprint in ONE SECOND !

Gray and ChimphandKeys have joined Talksport.

They start next week.

But they are owned by Sky and Murdoch. I'm confused.

Been listening to it a bit over the past week or so and frankly its pretty dross.

Collymore begging everyone to listen to him and his opinions. Brazil dribbling his way through every sentence and Darren Gough telling everyone "Eye up! It weren't like that in my day".

Pretty dross to be honest.

It's mostly rabblerousing crap, so Keys and Gray should fit in nicely, but I tune in on match days to find out if they're carrying commentaries I want to hear which aren't on Five Live.

Cant say I've ever listened to Talksport as it's never really appealed but people seem to love it or hate it.

The fact that Fox appears to be the only one on here who listens to it isn't doing it much good either, might have a listen tomorrow on the way in though as it cant be any worse than Radio 1.

That's what I thought. News International was one of the original partners, but it was sold to a Northern Ireland Broadcaster, UTV Radio in 2005.

I must admit that since I was tuned in on transfer deadline day, when it actually gave excellent coverage, on my long jaunt down to Swansea I have left it tuned in in the car.
I hate to admit this , but I have quite enjoyed it.
I don't know most of the presenters , but a lot of them seem to be quite pro-Liverpool and some actually talk some sense.
Darren Gough struggles a bit, and some of it is quite puerile, but it's all footy.

regards

On the final transfer day, it was funny when they mentioned that they hadn't heard from Chelsea fans all season, yet they were out in their droves when it became apparent the Torres transfer was on.

Says it all.

Bit of a come down from being seen by millions on tv week in, week out. But beggars can't be choosers I guess.

Talksports constant mode of playing devils advocate just to get listeners arguing is a bit boring after a while if you ask me. Very little in depth analysis or contributions from respected ex-players relegates it to shock value rather than required listening.

I didn't tune in to the deadline day show so I may be doing them a disservice but I've listened to it many times in the past and it's yet to make my preset buttons in the car.
