Just throwing this out to the 6Cm's massive. Any tips and advice would be greatly appreciated. So we (me, the good Mrs Astaire and my lad Kaito) are all game for getting a dog. Now the thing is I've never ever had a dog before so you know... Massive decision. We rent so it's kind of up to the landlord and so far he's been a bit uncool about it. However, our tenancy is up next month and we've indicated that we won't sign up unless he agrees to let us have one.
We got an email back earlier that finally he's ok with it as long as we cover any damage that the little pup might cause. That's cool with us so now shit just got real.
Is anyone here in the know about such things? I guess what I mean is has anyone never had a pooch growing up - Has no idea what the fuck it entails. In my head it sounds ace but I just know that it's a massive decision. What breed for example? Walkies, cool with kids etc etc. I'm looking at a kind of gun dog thing. Like a spaniel. A mate of mine around the corner just had a litter of beagles. Oh man they are so cool looking. £2000 and I get the pick of the pedigree bunch. A little research is needed (obviously because I know fuck all) but you know my 6CM's hombres have never failed me so what do you think? Anyone have any pointers at web sites or just general experience, I'm all ears.
