Liverpool flop Andrea Dossena has hinted that he could be set for a move to Juventus.

The Italy international, who signed for Liverpool for £7 million last summer, endured a less-than-impressive first season at Anfield – appearing in fewer than half of The Red’s Premier League matches.

Dossena did hint at a brighter future with late goals against Real Madrid and Manchester United, but the left back appears to have agreed with Rafa Benitez to find a move elsewhere.

Juventus were beaten to the punch by Liverpool 12 months ago when he was signed from Udinese, and it is believed The Old Lady still want him.

Juve have persistent problems with the fitness of Cristian Molinaro, and Dossena admits he would not be against a return to Italy.

"I have talked to Benitez. He is a wonderful person and has understood my problem," Dossena told Tuttosport.

"He told me that if they receive an offer that satisfies both the club and me, he will facilitate my transfer.

"I would run to Juve. They showed interest in me last year, but then Liverpool stepped in and wrapped things up in less than an hour.

"In England they play continuously and the hardest training session does not last more than 40 minutes, but I need to train longer.

"Now I truly hope to join Juve and start a new life."
 
You need to train longer eh Dossena?? Fuck, like as if its going to improve you even more. Fuck right off and Rafael make sure we get at least 6mil for him.
 
Another 'gripe' at the training sessions from a foreigner? Is it really that different in England?

I hope he goes for his own sake - he can make Italy's world cup squad I think.

Well, they paid good money for Momo who was a fringe player at the time and he's become a big success for them.

Hopefully they won't be put off by Dossena's shit season for us and offer us a reasonable amount.

another crap buy from rafa that's cost us in points and pounds. please don't feel you need to buy another left back, insua and aurelio is enough for next season at least, there are other priorities that need filling first. even if we get 4 million it'll raise a big chunk towards a right back.

Fringe player?? What kind of waffle is that?? ?? Momo has been tremendous for us for a couple of seasons. Even at Juve he has been one of the most important player for them. He scored more goals for them in one and a half season than with us for two and half seasons.

More amazing nonsense here little boy. Momo started 8 games and played about 12 games overall and scored 1 goal for us before he was sold to Juve that January. Those numbers did not show Momo was down the pecking order you sap!
