All the best to him. Never the most talented or well-rounded keeper, but to his credit he did slowly improve his game, particularly distribution and catching/punching crosses. His attitude has been nothing but professional; unfortunately he's got a really bad psychological attribute for a keeper, which is being riddled by self-doubt. Even Karius had more swag. He has been our #1 in the lean years between Rafa and Klopp; still, he leaves a Champions League winner. YNWA Simon.

Goodbye Semen Minge-au-lait.

You won’t be missed.

We should have called him “Fanny Milk” years ago...

Will be interesting to see who we bring in as back up. Hopefully an experienced head. I loved his professionalism last year and all the comments about the positive effect he had on training, the squad and the wider GK union at Melwood. He was never quite our level but always gave his best and tried to adapt to being a sweeper keeper which doesn't come naturally to all.

Wish him the best back in Bruges.

Thought we was worth a little more, but doesn't matter much. It's going to be hard to get anyone decent to sit on the bench, as they're really unlikely to get ahead of Alisson.

Yeah happy with that - decent enough in the PL and not going to upset any of the younger keepers by affecting their path to #1 in 3-4 years or whatever their outlook might be. Freebie too, so smart business.

Grabara will be Huddersfields nr 1 in the Championship this season, will be interesting to see how he develops.

Absolutely.

Also whilst it's only £7m, there will be a great reduction in wages (i imagine Ming was on over 100k and Adrian will be on more like 30-40k), it is more great marginal gains to our finances.

What a debut though by him. remember this penalty save? Best of luck to 'im. Glad he's going to get 1st team time somewhere. Soul destroying to be #2 to Becker.

Best for him and the club to move on. Hope he makes a success at his new club. All due respect to Club Brugge but I don't think he'll be in the spotlight so much there and this may help his seemingly often fragile psyche.

Petition for the kop to welcome him to his first game doing a Rocky Balboa style 'Aaaaaadriaaaannnnnneeeee'

Good start for him as a back up goalkeeper for us. Scoring the winning penalty against the Ev:

Impressed at how well this was kept underwraps given we must have done all press shots with Adrian before today and I don't recall seeing any hints of his name before this weekend.

Good time for him to leave tbh. Brugge aren't a bad side..

Adrian as back up on a free makes sense.

We are cash strapped after all 😱

Sorry it didn't work out for him in the end. He's an intelligent, classy fella and a decent enough keeper. It's just that "decent enough" isn't LFC 1st team standard.

All the best to him for the future.
