Endo and Robbo

Both are staying but both show increasing signs that they're unable to handle the pace of the game for a title chasing side. If Guehi comes in, will he be the inverted CB? Should Jo be second choice LB over Robbo? I want Robbo to lift 21 for Jota, but on a 1-on-1, he often loses the duel and then commits a foul which could earn him red. I feel both can manage the last 15-20m of a game but that's it, any longer the become a liability

I don't get how Endo is suddenly a problem? He always get stuck in 100% whenever he plays. He did more than Jones in the last game.

I am not sure whose instructions is it for him to play RB and then start bombing up and down the midfield when it's not his game.

I guess if Slot doesn't want to play him as a traditional defensive midfielder or a backup CB, then there is a case for him to be sold. But we won't get much for him and he is on small wages I would assume, so...

Robbo on the other hand...

I don't see either of them as a huge problem that is worth worrying too much about.

It's the right time to replace Robertson as a regular, and we have done so. As second choice, he's totally fine. Remember, we have just won the league with Robertson in the side playing most games. Yes, he is showing his age a bit, but no, you don't become a total liability overnight.

With Endo, again, he is back up really and far more often than not, when he is asked to do a job he seems to just get on and do it. I don't have any problem with a player like that.

Robbo was at fault for almost both of those goals. Went and stayed forward too much and was then nowhere to be seen covering on defence.

Not convinced by the Endo comment. Where are the signs? The only sign I saw from Endo is that he was somewhat uncomfortable going in at RB.

Robbo yes - but that is well spoken about. Superb character and leader. Was brilliant in his peak. He's on a par with Tsimi now. Open to seeing how he does this season but he's not going to suddenly have refound his pace, maybe his positioning & ability to hold the line will improve. Maybe his speed of thought will improve. He showed endless examples of all of these deteriorating last season.
