Some people think too much. Sunny, Rafa, Woland, Mark Spoin and anyone else that have pointed out we are extremely lucky to have Enrique have it nailed.
Sometimes I think we should have some sort of test before people are allowed to post on here.

Im probably the first person here who mentioned Enrique as our solution for the LB spot. Some wanted us to play Glenjo there with Robinson as back up.
Like I said he has one flaw I belive it could be remidied by playing a great crosser like Aurelio in front of him, thats it.

If that is really a serious suggestion and has any logic whatsoever (it hasn't) people must think we are much more fucked than we actually are, Modo I don't want to seem a twat , as you come across as a really nice lad, but Aurelio is a perma crock, he has had his chance and had his day. The opposition are not going to stand back and give him time and space for him to ping in blisteringly accurate crosses (I have not seen that many of them to be honest) he has no pace and is never match fit. I am hugely disappointed with Downing to the point I am starting to hate him, but between a shit Downing and Aurelio there is no contest.
Downing has let Enrique down badly but putting Aurelio in front of him would be a right slap in his face.

Woopty do.

As others have mentioned, Enrique is the least of our issues.

Complaining about the one defecit in his game (his crossing) is rather pointless especialyl since we have some players who barely have one fucking attribute in their repertoire.

or anyone to actually cross to

Quiffer!

Edit: Actually you are not! I thought i made that point before. I was pretty sure...but apparently not.

Maxi and Bellamy should be starting ahead of Downing. I don't think it's a far out suggestion that Aurelio should be either. He's a good footballer and very adaptable.

He'll be fucked in a fortnight anyway, so we may as well make the most of him. But as others have said, crossing the ball is bloody pointless at the moment.

Well Julian, I was surprised that no one had made it as it seems very pertinent

If we hadn't got Enrique, Magic would have been a perfectly decent option at LB. He had an excellent half-season there.

Can't agree completely there Jules, Enrique is twice the full back Glen is, I mean he can actually defend.
Don't get me wrong I like Glenjo as long as he is on form going forward, and you are right he did a decent job there.
