Still not impressed, but it was better than I was expecting.
I didn't watch the game, mind. It was nice.
Kindly let me know how this makes sense?

Fair comment and I didn't argue with the starting lineup but when we started to get a little bit of momentum in the 2nd Half but lacked any sign of getting anyone in the box bar Wirtz I'd have had a bit of a think about swapping him outI think starting either of them would have been a strange gamble and would have meant our highest available goal scorer and creater was on the bench.
Agree with that. Those dropped points hurt but in isolation this was a brilliant display and better than last season there when we actually won the league but were lucky to get a draw.I'd be more positive about this result if the fraud hadn't parked the bus at home against Sunderland, dropped silly points against Leeds twice, Nottingham Forest, Fulham et al.
Until he shows he can break down a low block consistently - something he's admitted he basically can't do - then I'm not gonna crow about our unbeaten run or claim we've turned a corner.
We should be walking away this league. Not Stoke 2.0 and that Spanish lego-headed David Brent
Ok fair enough I see you won’t see how that display isn’t humble vs getting humiliated.
We created heaps of opportunities but our shooting boots in shit weather let us down.
I think gakpo offers an out ball, kind of, as he can hold it up a bitA wing back, an attacking mid and a left sided attacker is the best we can cobble together allegedly. I simply can't believe we'd have been worse with Cheesy on instead of Gakkers
The play that led to Bradley's shot was magical, so we did play magical football for 7 seconds at leastYou don't need to get a shot on target to play magical football, but we do play magical football
Can he?I think gakpo offers an out ball, kind of, as he can hold it up a bit
You need to go back and watch some of the passing on the middle as Arsenal tried to press. It was magical and something we haven’t seen enough of this season. We’ve been very sloppy at times turning the ball over in dangerous spots, especially Macca and Wirtz. None of that tonight against the best side in the league by a distance.Words fail me
We created _a few_ promising attacks, mainly down the right and won a couple of long range free kicks. It is no surprise Szobo shot from the free kicks because we had zero fucking attacking options. Same regarding the promising attacks, not capability to convert because no-one was getting into a position to convertWe created heaps of opportunities but our shooting boots in shit weather let us down
Kindly let me know how this makes sense?
Don’t disagree with this but also would you really have been shocked if at some point he cut inside and scored. I wouldn’t have been. The thing he does bring is goals. It was a good performance in the context of this season and the shit we found ourselves in. As far as where the team is at relative to arsenal in the last decade, it's hard to get excited.
If you thought we were going to get mullered and instead we got a decent point away, just take it as a success.
I think if we have ekitike maybe we steal that game. The fact that I expect absolutely nothing from gakpo, a more senior player at the peak of his abilities, is a problem.
Anything not to lose.
You can understand it in the context of this game. The problem is that this is part of a wider trend.
We were very solid on set pieces and they had at least 7-8 free kicks or corners that tested us.I didn't think we'd get battered. Arsenal aren't that type of side. I just thought they'd grind out a boring 2-0 from a couple of corners and we'd be toothless. Still not impressed, but it was better than I was expecting.

I am not sure. So I said kind of. He was very poor, but that would be my guess as to why he stayed on.Can he?
I think that would have been a gamble when we were completely on top. I’d have liked to see it but absolutely understand why he didn’t.Fair comment and I didn't argue with the starting lineup but when we started to get a little bit of momentum in the 2nd Half but lacked any sign of getting anyone in the box bar Wirtz I'd have had a bit of a think about swapping him out
If he ever complains about a low block again he deserves to have his hands chopped off and then show lm the start of this game.
Ha. Ok a lot more than I expected away to Arsenal and after 20 mins where we couldn’t get out.Heaps?
Wirtz just needed a better pass from Frimpong to score but yes we lacked bodies in the box for the majority. We created _a few_ promising attacks, mainly down the right and won a couple of long range free kicks. Which bit?
I think your adrenalin levels are dropping! Keep up the positivity mate 🙂 It's always good to remember we do _support_ the teamWirtz just needed a better pass from Frimpong to score but yes we lacked bodies in the box for the majority.

I would have been ecstatic if this was a CL tie and we won the home game.Ha ffs. If we got raped but somehow scraped a 0/0 that’s be fine.
Are you seriously saying you weren’t impressed with that display esp the second half?
Arguably with all the pre game context it was our best display of the season without our three main attackers.
You should just say, aye humble pie for this game, I didn’t expect that but I still hate Slot and want him gone.
The part where you didn't watch the movie but have an opinion about how good it was.
I'm talking about the result. I expected us to get beat. We didn't. The performance seems like it was decent enough, but lacking any cutting edge, judging by the comments on here.
So, it's still not great, but it was better than I expected. Picture expecting a turd sandwich and being served up a breadstick dipped in piss instead.
But we didn't have a fucking striker, and we are trying to rebuild our confidence playing the best team in this fucking atrocious league.
Harsh on Jesus who did make a bit of an impact.Neither did they
