We concede far too many goals during transitions from attack to defence. Even teams like Frankfurt manage to score against us, and it’s not just about set pieces anymore.
The problem lies in our shape when we lose possession. We have too many players committed high up the pitch, with our fullbacks practically operating in the opposition’s penalty area. That leaves Konaté and Van Dijk exposed, with barely any protection in front of them.
To make matters worse, we lose the ball far too easily and far too often in attack, it's as if we're just handing it straight back to the opposition. There's no structure behind the ball, no buffer zone, and no time to recover. It’s chaos every time we’re caught out.
