I wonder if this is acting or not.
How long does he get? by then we may have lost 6 in a row. It's not like he as a job for life even despite winning the league. What's the point of waiting for end of season if FSG feels he can't make the new signings and team work. They aren't going to sell those 500m in Dec so they will need to make a choice.

Not crazy but not good. Before today we lost the other 3 with late goals by one goal. Fine margins and lots of new faces to integrate.

You said it right there yourself. Salah will score if we play well and won't if we won't. So he isnt the problem with our current plight but he by that definition can't be the solution either? Sounds like a great use of funds.
It didn't take Unai Emery long to turn Aston Villa around post Gerrard. Flip that it didn't take long for Postacoglu to destroy a solid Nottingham Forrest after Nuno got sacked. Point is there are very good premier league managers that would resolve some of the creaks. I'd try to bring in Nuno he's quality. Iraola is good too but as we're seeing with Wurtz it's a hell of a step up. LFC also tend to stick by their manager so I doubt Slot would get sacked. One other point they hired Slot because he used a similar formation to Klopp so wouldn't disrupt the team, then in year 2 he's entirely demolished the squad. We've been a bit too clever by not slowly bringing in players across several years and done it all at once. My take.

If he starts losing multiple games at home then it’ll be more serious. For me this is a transition season and as long as we aren’t hanging around the bottom third even we won’t be and advance in the CL which we will then Slot gets a season to work it out from me.
It's funny. Szobo, Jones and Wirtz are probably out best three today, but I still wouldn't say our midfield has been good.
