Wirtz did not cause concern. Mo. however was the epitome of concern. We had another half a dozen penalty takers on the pitch. We didn't need Salah.

Nah I'd disagree with that. Their game plan almost worked perfectly, whereas ours was fucking abhorrent. Burnley definitely didn't deserve to win, but they deserved something from the game
Exactly, City in their hey days had no problems dispatching these teams. They nullified any threat we had today.
Wirtz will take flack, but he was at least neat, tidy, competent and involved. When Salah is bad, it's like playing with an imposter.
I don't think Ekitike and Wirtz got their partnership right today. We need Ekitke to be more of a target man, staying central. He was getting frustrated and dropping deep into play, which shouldn't be needed in games like today.
Gakpo was our best attacker by a mile, but still lacks the acceleration and tricks to terrorise a back five. Ngumoha was able to push their defenders back into the box where anything can happen, he combined nicely with Frimpong, and the penalty came off the laters cross. Both should have been on earlier.

We have changed everything to accomodate him and so far he’s delivered fuck all.

Rio and Chiesa have had more impact than him. It’s definitely concerning.
It's pointless trying to reason, he plays the game in his head, fuck the gulf in finances, they should have just played and made it easier for us. The fact they didn't fucks with his head and his well flawed theorising.
I don't think he was. He was beyond repetitive just repeating the same trick over and over with zero end product. Rio was an immediate improvement and I thought Ekitike looked the most dangerous - though agree he should have stayed higher.
Salah was putrid but scored under extreme pressure (even more so after an awful performance).
