Pre Match EPL Burnley (H) Sat 17th January 15:00

Frimpong, Ekitike and Wirtz all seem to have a really good relationship and seem to have some understanding as a trio, so I'd personally like to see us persevere with that front three for now.

On paper it's perfect really, creativity (W), centre forward play and goals (E), and pace and skill (F).

At this point I'd see any team without Gakpo in it as a win.

& I don't even think he's a bad player, he's just really really shit to watch and totally not what we need for the football we want to see.

Szoboszlai anywhere other than midfield is a waste, simple as that. He gives energy, pressing and quality on the ball — you lose all of that if you shove him out wide or at right back.
As for Gakpo, I get why people are frustrated. He works hard, but too often it’s the same move over and over with very little end product. In games where space is tight, that hurts the team.

A rest for Frimpong? A chance for Gomez?

Right-back presents Arne Slot with another delicate balancing act against a Burnley team showing signs of improvement. The season-ending knee injury sustained by Conor Bradley at Arsenal was, as Slot put it, “an enormous blow” for the luckless defender. It also heightens the load on Jeremie Frimpong at a time when he has to be managed carefully, having recently returned from a second hamstring injury of the campaign. Frimpong has impressed in recent weeks but, with trips to Marseille and Bournemouth on the horizon, Slot may consider the claims of Joe Gomez or Calvin Ramsay for the problematic position. Scott Parker’s side have not won a league game since October but having ended a 12-match winless streak with an emphatic FA Cup rout of Millwall last Saturday, and drawn three of their past five league matches, the relegation-threatened visitors have arrested the slide. Sounds like Ramsay will get his chance or at least be in the squad. Slot saying he's good enough to get it should mean he starts against Brighton in the cup at least. Maybe get some minutes tomorrow if we're up a few goals (we all know thats not happening).

I think I have as much chance as getting minutes as much as Ramsay will. He’s only there to make up the numbers.

Another week of this man being a complete shit bag, what's new? Only thing worse than Slot at present are the hopefuls that hold on to any sprinkle of belief he has some kind of surprise in store. The guy is as interesting as he looks.

The day he finally gets the sack will almost be as glorious as winning the CL, or PL, or England getting knocked out a tournament.

Another week of you being a shit bag supporter then eh?

The sad fact about Ramsay is that we haven't seen enough of him to know if he's any good. I'd like to see a world where the circumstances give the guy his chance and he does the business, but I have no conviction that either of those things will happen.
But it's really poor from Slot, even if you have no intention of playing him you talk about how well he's been applying himself in training and that he's ready to do his bit when needed, but for now you're looking at other options. If nothing else, it helps preserve his transfer value if you don't basically say you think he's so shit you'd rather play your best attacking midfielder out of position.

If wanting rid of this emotionless, stuck up, bald, humpty dumpty looking fraud makes me a shit bag supporter, then absofuckinglutely.

Arne Slot just doesn't get this football club.
Remind me, what was the first thing he did when we secured the title?

Maybe he did get it last season, but something has happened and he communicates like an absolute tool these days.

He resembles nothing like a Liverpool manager. Cunt should be sacked if that comment is true, which Dee says it is.
