The reason everyone makes a big deal out of chiesa isn't because he's great or would have been starting regularly under klopp. It's that under klopp he'd be encouraged to play his part in the story, even if it was a bit part. Comparing anyone to Klopp is unfair. He’s literally one of the all time greats but he’s gone and who we currently have, warts and all had won us a title and come through the worst run of his managerial career and is still in with a very decent chance of winning another major trophy this season.

Most relatively new managers would never have recovered from that run of form. It is notable that he even survived. I think it's unrealistic to think he goes from that to the team playing really good football.

I’d get games 1 to 3 to start getting into a rhythm. Then expect more style after that with our new found confidence. But there is none of that. We look shit.
