What’s the actual issue with his fitness? It’s october and he isn’t. Is he ever likely to be? Some background we aren’t aware of?

Injured late last year and was working on recovery all summer. Surprised he is not fully recovered yet, but it appears to be the case. He has been really poor defensively for weeks.
