Post Match EPL Dyche’s Forest (H) 0-3 22nd Nov 15:00

Started brightly but couldn't make it count. And then degraded into the same pile of shit we've become accustomed to.

Absolutely dire. Beaten comprehensively and deservedly.

it was not worth giving my laptop aids to watch that

the remainder of the season is operation qualify for the champions league. any caretaker type managers capable?

Terrible result after a bright start.

Big few weeks coming up for Slot now after this result.

Losing by the odd goal is one thing or losing away to City but getting well beaten at home to a bottom 3 side by 3-0 piles the pressure on to get results and quickly.

Summer fucked us over royally. There were positions we needed filling and we didn't fill them. We were all bamboozled by the snake oil salesmen of the spreadsheet squad.

Tactically we're fucking muck, and while i have faith a new manager would improve us, he wouldn't get us to the levels we're used to, because of huge gaping wounds that are in the squad.

Anyone remember Hodgson's last game against Blackburn when Gerrard deliberately blew a late penalty over the bar to make sure the cunt got sacked?
Yeah, that.
I didn't see any of today's game, but it has that "players being shit to get the manager sacked" vibe all over it. He's done. They're done with him. There is no way back for him.

We've looked terrible for ages and are now fairly consistently losing games. There is no apparent safe haven. It doesn't seem to matter whether we're home or away or who gets picked.

I'd love to be able to point at something, anything, to suggest that there is hope going forward, but I can't really. At this point sticking with what we've got, from an outsiders perspective, is simply blind faith.

Weirdly we're not that far off the top 4 but if this continues for much longer, we will be. The board will have to make a big call soon.

I dunno, because we were actually good before they scored, then the belief went.

We've gone from mentality monsters to frightened children.

We don't stand a fucking chance in any game where the opposition is remotely arsed

Club announcement tonight please John.

It could have been 5-0, had two bad decisions not been made, at home, against Forest. And we don't seem that surprised. If that doesn't tell you we're in a state, what will?

My worry is the amount of money we've spaffed away on overrated players last summer. Any way we can get that money back....

That's the big worry, isn't it?

We can get rid of Slot but that summer of spending was our one chance more or less to get it right and as things stand, it looks like we need to spend another 150M minimum to dig ourselves out of this hole.

I never thought id see the day when we buy a player who has the mentality to go on strike for his club to force a move. I thought we were better than that.

It feels like the transfer window has been an epic fuck up of even Man Utd proportions, what a waste of money and not just a bit of money. Record amounts. I fear that it's going to financially damage us long term.

Maybe I'm over optimistic but "form is temporary, class is permanent". I actually think getting the right managerial replacement will have a Klopp-Firmino effect (if I can call it that) for majority of the new signings.
i think that too

Wirtz and isak don't fit this system.

They will fit another system. The manager just needs to be brave enough to try it
