Pre Match EPL Sunderland (A) - Wednesday February 12th 20:15

I need a worse insult than cunt for this bald headed fraud. Starting to find it boring myself.

Has no business being manager of this club. Classless cunt, from throwing players under the bus, to throwing away competitions, to sacking members of his own staff, to gloating and raving over clubs like PSG, to saying Anfield isn't the fortress it once was, coming to the aid of opposition players that show no regard for your injured player, just fuck off, nobody likes you, even the wife and kids can't stand to be around you which is why they're over there and you're here.

If Shanks and the like were here to witness this, they'd be ashamed.
Call him binomial - that's a fucking belter of an insult.

On your last point, I am quite sure that if the internet and you had both been around during his seven barren seasons, Mr Shankly would have been likened to some part of genetalia

Anyway this game. Given he's still refusing to play Ramsay, its gonna be Endo at RB I imagine. At this stage I think Robbo would be better there though.

Ali

Endo
Ibu
Virgil
Kerkez

Gravy
Jones
Macca

Salah
Ekitike
Wirtz

Gakpo has to be benched.

Extremely annoyed with that. He inherited a team that has been challenging for titles for 8 plus years and one that was still in peak performance window.

I was largely sympathetic to him and the squad due to what happened in the summer and I had very low expectations for the season. But that kind of statement make me question his leadership ability.

Klopp took over a squad in rehabilitation, and never spoke ill of what he inherited.

[7:00] Calvin Ramsey queried. Why not put round peg in round hole?
Had to explain the expression. If you don't play a player they always seem to appear better to the people. I chose the best players until now and I'll do that again tomorrow
He's a fucking bellend. Ramsey should be playing. Shitter teams have shitter right backs and have played against us and won this season. Ramsey has been with us for years, understands the way we play, trains with our players, has played alongside centre back stalwarts like Ilori. He's our only fit right back, just fucking play him.

Is he for fucking real?
What the fuck is wrong with him?
You don't have to make a point by fucking insulting your players constantly.
And its not true either cause we would have signed Zubidoobi if had said yes to us.

And maybe I’m reading too much into it, but it does come across as a slightly sarcastic dig at Klopp — indirectly referencing Klopp’s 22/23 league finish (which I think he will have difficulty matching this season - we need 28 out of 39 points to equal that season's 67 points), which led to no Champions League football in 23/24 (and/or using it as a defence for himself, should we not qualify for CL).

He only finished with two more points than Klopp’s final season. As I’ve mentioned before, 84 points wouldn’t have been enough to win the title in most of the past 10 seasons - the last season in which 84 points (2024/25) would have been enough to win the title was 2015/16 — the season won by Leicester (only once in the last 14 seasons, twice in 22 seasons).

Above not a transcript. Just me typing whilst listening

I don’t understand his point — is it that “the starting XI I chose is always right”? Or that “those not in the starting XI, or not given minutes, are simply not good enough and will never deserve a chance”?

He's not saying much controversial. He's just saying that if you lose, everyone second guesses the decisions made. So the player you didn't select, people think would have played amazing, which is ahistorical.

For evidence of this on here, look to chiesa and Rio.

Or who we should play as second CB for kiopp for large periods of time.

If it were simply a question about tactical choices (the usual “why Player A over Player B” — for example, the insistence on starting Gakpo), I’d have no issue with the answer. But it was in response to a question about Ramsay and the idea of not fitting a square peg into a round hole, which is why it feels controversial to me to some extent.

I think many players initially try to prove themselves in training. But if you're lead by a cunt like Slot it wouldn't surprise me if a few of them adopts a "if I don't have a chance, why bother" mentality.
To have a someone in charge who constantly downplays fringe players value to the team is insane and the board being ok with it is even more insane.
