At least there's only one keeper on thereI just saw this game on my calendar and it may as well have been an appointment for a root canal.
Just look at that bench.
I guess the rumour of jones and slot falling out is true. The guy is getting no starts.
Great chance for Endo.
On excel. Are you watching this one?
Ultimately, it's a case of which midfielder would we prefer playing out of position at right back (with, er, two right backs on the bench) but I do hope that it's the fact that Endo is more defensive that means he's in.
That said though, that thinking hasn't seemed to have made a difference in other games when we've had to have a midfielder in defence, so you have to wonder if it's a non-football reason, which is really not the way to go.
A clean sheet and we'll win.
I'd bet it's Endo at RB until ~70min, then if we're in the lead Gomez will come in for Macca and Endo will go into midfield. Slot seems to like changes like that in game. I think it makes him feel like playing chess.
Inter and Burnley. Few and far betweenHRM. What do we have this season away with a clean sheet? West Ham, arsenal? Is that it?
I was more thinking jones instead of macca who has been wank all season. He would offer more physicality against Sunderland.I don't know enough about Sunderland to comment but there's reasons you wouldn't be convinced he'd be that defensively disciplined given recent games. With Endo you get that, and a lot less elsewhere.
Again, if he starts, everyone just talks about how shit he is.
We were significantly underperforming with our best team. We were significantly struggling to have a decent bench. Then szobo is out and we have no RB cover that can start. There aren't any good choices. They are all bad. Slot can eat a lot of shit for this season. I think fsg should also eat some for thinking that apparently we have evidenced that we have been running so well that we will be fine even if you leave us bleeding from our right arse cheek.

we will win this one.
But it’s ok if we don’t as we have lots of injuries etc etc
I was more just thinking a midfield of gravenberch, macca and wirtz is going to get beat up. Jones is an average player but useful in these types of games.Yeah. I get it. I thought Jones would 100% be at right back, but sure.
The thing is, when we likely lose this game, we´ll hear about how slot should have picked Jones. Now I like Curtis Jones, I actually think he was on his way this season, until he did an interview as though he had arrived, then got an injury as usual and we´re back at square one. But, had he played from the beginning, most of the forum would have talked about how shit he was, just as they did when he was actually fairly performant.
I think you really don´t want to have to make these decisions, is the thing. The options aren´t great.
