That said if this is our 'transitional season' and we start winning more PL and CL titl3s in the following 6-7 seasons, I'll take it.

They are 20+ years ago when title winning teams would lose around 6 or 7 and win the title but modern football has changed also since then.. Now it would be around 3 or 4

It's not like it's some formula, though. Teams don't often lose more than 5 and win a title but they often draw a shitload. Losing 4 so far isn't that much of a problem just in terms of points dropped, IF we were able to go on and produce last season's form from now on. But that's the big question.
 
Fuck Villa. Hope we recall him January and find him a better destination. This is another wasted season for him and it's not helping his sale value for us.

Given that the threshold to make the signing mandatory is just 10 matches, it's likely he'll just not see the pitch for them.
 
It's sad.

Slot won't have him back. We'll just take a smaller price next summer
