EPL Week 23 Other Matches - January 24-26th

Arsenal have barely threatened all game, needed a poxy OG just like against Wolves to get on the scoresheet against utter dross.

Can't wait for them to bottle yet another title.

FFS definitely didn't see that coming.

Why is anyone happy United are winning?

For me, Liverpool need United to lose (form/momentum) > Arsenal not winning the league?

I'd rather make CL and Arsenal win the league > Not make CL and Arsenal don't win league.
Whether utd win or not we aren't making top 5 as long as slot is here..

I'm never happy utd are winning but if helps fsg pull the trigger on slot then it'll be worth it

Half feels like we need pressure to perform. All our best games seem to have come at times when we're not expecting much. Madrid, inter, arsenal.

Maybe we need the pressure to force the players to perform. To force the board to act. To force slot to try and motivate the fucking squad.

I don't want united to win, but realistically we need something to get us going. Dropping to 7th (again) might be the motivator we need

Shows that systems are all well and good, but if they sacrifice the brilliance of individuals then it means fuck all

FSG aren't pulling trigger until summer. So until then I'm supporting us to make the top 5.

Contrary to opinion, I think we've played well the last 3 games, but somehow haven't won all 3.

For me, it's been more players fucking up than the system.

Before that, i'll agree with most around here and say it was all the system.

I just hope a scum win make’s our club act and get a competent manager in.

Ruben Amorim won back-to-back games once in the Premier League as Manchester United head coach - a three-match winning streak in October.

Michael Carrick is doing it in his first two games - the opponents being the top two teams in the Premier League.

As said previously Arsenal will 100% shit their kecks. If City put a run together they win the league.

I think we can beat City at Anfield. We'll likely raise our game and all the chances we're missing, will somehow go in against them. So we'll help Arsenal that weekend.

The fact that two teams who did “poor enough” to get their managers sacked are currently ahead of us, despite our unbeaten run, speaks volumes about how “well” we’ve actually done.

=======

Carrick's 1st (short) caretaker spell was already decent enough to earn a longer spell in charge (at least until end of the season) back then .

(vs. Arteta, Tuchel, Emery)
