EPL Week 23 Other Matches - January 24-26th

I don't even think any of this is any of our business until we have something resembling competence.

No, i can't enjoy united success, however, good lord would it be hilarious if arsenal can't even win this league.

This is where I am. I don't want Arsenal to win the league, but equally fuck relying on other sides to get us out of jail because we can't do our own job against the shite.

If we don't get the CL places it will be our own doing, not because United beat Arsenal or whatever.

Had my aunt had bollocks and we’d beaten the sides 15th and lower we would be a couple of points off top.

It hasn’t been talked about enough how bad a signing Madueke has been. 55 mill £ and zero goals/assists in the league. Looked like a non league player today.
He's brainless. Shouldn't have left the Netherlands

Arsenal are so average despite the talent.
It's even more infuriating how poor we've been - players, managers, everyone - as we could have challenged for the league this year ... and easily.
The players clearly didn't treat this season as they did last ...

Say no to Eredivisie exports (van de Beek, Antony, Malacia etc.) inc. managers (ten Hag, de Boer, Sl**) 😅

Just a friendly reminder.

Had we beaten Burnley (AT HOME) and Bournemouth yesterday. We'd have only been 9 points behind Arsenal.

( I can't bother looking at the table because it makes me nauseous, so I'm thinking that we were 14 points behind Arsenal befor we played Burnley. If not apologies for my bad maths)

Add Sunderland and Leeds home games it’s 5.

Half glass full POV:

Take away those last-gasp goals in the first five league games (also during this run: Arsenal (H) 83’, not included.) —
  • Bournemouth (H) 88’, 90+4’
  • Newcastle (A) 90+10’
  • Burnley (A) 90+5’
and we’re basically 10 points clear of relegation (5 points off 17th). 👍

I know the inclination is to look upwards but honestly given our level of performances and results, we're very lucky the league is so poor this year. We should be about 13th with top 4 out of sight and even now we're closer to 15th than we are 2nd.

And the idea that we'll come anywhere close to winning the CL is laughable.

Happy Monday!
