I doubt it ... Suarez will stay until next summer most likely. He'll most likely stay even longer if we can get into the Champions League. Eriksen + a CB shouldn't be too much above our budget ... we're fine it seems.

That's what I meant with the / (otherwise it would have been Willian + eriksen + CB) ... I don't see our owners being ready to take risks currently due to the trauma of AC, Downing etc

The moment we're back in the CL I hope we ship him out to the highest bidder. I wanted him to stay this season because we're still not ready to build without him. He's gone way too far with his words and antics.

But he's going to kick up a fuss whenever he pleases.
It's not as if he's learnt anything from this and is declaring to stay for the rest of his career. He hasn't even said he's staying this season. He's getting cheered while he stays but we should fuck him off out the county the moment we're in a better position to do so. Getting rid of him now would be the bad move. Not once we've qualified for europe though.

I assume you don't mean Cantona at United because he was never really disloyal to them during the playing time with them, do you mean if Cantona had stayed at Leeds in some weird parallel world? 🙂

I'm talking about a temperamental genius who won games and took Manure from a team on the cusp to one of the greatest teams in England. That's what Suarez can be for us -

None of us 'know' his character - we can only assume by the little he's 'exposed' over the last 7 years or so during his rise to stardom.

He'll stay if there's no reason to leave ... There's very few players who are 100% loyal to a club their whole career -

Well isn't that anyone really knows, think it's a fair shout of what he's about. It is what is it is and being nearly 27, it's not something that he will change anytime soon. He wants out and he has a certain way about going about it which is consistent with his behaviour since he's been documented footballer in Europe. I just accept it's what Suarez is, call me sceptical but from everything he has done so far, nothing suggests he won't walk out at the earliest available opportunity and even if that is as embarrassing side step to Arsenal. Only things is, first time in 7 yrs, we have shown the biggest balls in his face to say no 🙂
