I don't wanna be all James Pearce but my dude did say before Christmas that salah and vvd were staying, trent was off, and then over a week before any announcements said they were both 2 year deals that had been agreed. To be fair he hasn't even mentioned Trent in terms of any talks but he's clearly got decent info and the the only thing he's said about him in the last week is that he understands why he's off.

I really like Madrid. Wandering round that central park, black swans in the boating lake, and visiting the prado on the edge of it. Like the way city looks and feels. I love the food. I like the bars. Happy memories of watching football there too. Saw Ryan Babel walk into a lamppost there once. All good.
