I’m starting to think we could actually go on and win the champions league this year.

Our new boys are starting to thrive, Isak to sprinkle in and a group that won’t be distracted by a title challenge…We’ve arguably got a set up more suited to European footy and PSV aside, we’ve been impressive enough in the league stage.

The other big European sides all having their own struggles for various reasons whilst Arsenal don’t have the killer instinct to win it.

What are your expectations?

…just imagine FSG trying to remove Slot in the summer after he’s won the prem in his first season and champions league in his second season!
 
I expect us to win it, but then I haven't written off a title challenge either.

As for your last sentence, just imagine the fans who will still be miserable after winning the prem and CL in two years.

Greatly admire the hope. I'm not there. For me, both finishing and chance creation can be labeled patchy, game management and fitness is questionable, and there's still question marks over our ability to defend set pieces and generally being too passive in defense. Now all of those things have improved since a real low point, but it's still a plenty long list that covers all extremities of the pitch.

I do agree we look far more suited to Euruoe than the PL. Carragher said it right, in the summer we chose to build a (more) technical team at a time the league jolted in the opposite direction. Far, far stranger things have happened that we've also been part of, but I don't dare to dream just yet.
 
I doubt we would win it but at least less shitty set pieces and sides trying to attack. As a competition, only thing that resembles passable for football this season.

We will need to avoid English teams to stand the best chance.

Beating Arsenal in the semi finals would be delightful tho!

In 2024, Mo Salah said that wanted nothing more than to win the league with Liverpool and celebrate it with the fans.

I'm 2025, MO Salah said that he wanted nothing more this season than to win the Champions League with Liverpool.
