Yeah that second half was absolutely arsenal shitting themselves for no reason. First half they looked a lot more likely to score than us. The first game was relatively equal

Now and on paper yes. However maybe Arsenal's style suits us. They are probably playing as well as they can at present whereas it's clear we have a LOT more in the tank.

We're becoming difficult to beat and the new players are settling in well. The established players were awful early season but especially Macca and Konate are looking more like their old selves.

My main concern is injuries in key positions. The squad looks very thin in some positions. However we are definitely improving.

Not sure. I don't think Arteta likes playing us and they couldnt score a goal over 180 mins in the leauge and we bossed them at the Emirates in that second half without a striker.

Bookies have Arsenal and BM as clear favourites (4/1 and 9/2).

Then come 5 teams between 8/1 and 12/1 (us). Big gap then to Chelsea at 20/1.

Seems about right even if Arse are overvalued at those odds.

I’m starting to think we could actually go on and win the champions league this year.

Our new boys are starting to thrive, Isak to sprinkle in and a group that won’t be distracted by a title challenge…We’ve arguably got a set up more suited to European footy and PSV aside, we’ve been impressive enough in the league stage.

The other big European sides all having their own struggles for various reasons whilst Arsenal don’t have the killer instinct to win it.

What are your expectations?

…just imagine FSG trying to remove Slot in the summer after he’s won the prem in his first season and champions league in his second season!
