Right - we have some mojo back. Onwards and upwards!

Interesting time to face Everton as they seem to have found their own form in recent games. Big news that Jagielka is out after his sending off.

Will be interesting to see whether Matip comes back for this one, but if not I don't see Klopp making any changes from Boro. Everton away is definitely a game to shield an under pressure, young keeper from!

Has there been any news on the Origi knock?

Game is on Monday night. Think we might have a few players back. Especially Matip.
It's gonna be a tough game.

Ashley Williams and Everton, it's going to be hard to contain my anger during this game.

This is from ages ago but we aren't allowed a random thread

Everton have been below par for a while and were really bad against Watford. Got some of their mojo back against Arsenal and they'll deffo be up for it Monday.

Lukaku will always be a threat against us and Barkely is due a good performance soon aswell.
It will be a tough game no doubt.
Still, feel that we got enough to win the game. Just need to find the same balance as yesterday and come out fighting. Need to show the neccessary passion and hunger.

Can, Matip and possibly Studge could be back for this one. The first two I reckon will make it.
I though Klavan was excellent yesterday and wouldnt be against a Matip - Klavan partnership.
Guess it will be Matip - Lovren though.
The rest of the team should be the same as against Boro.

I'm for some reason banned from the Origi thread but saw a stat yesterday that he has 17 goals in 21 starts for us. 29 games as a sub. A goal every 143 mins. Very impressive for a 21 year old lad. He'll be boss!

Klavan.

As if there'd be any doubt about it either.
I don't think it'd be fair on him, he's played very well last game and a half.

Mignolet Lovren Matip Klavan Clyne Can Henderson Lallana Mane Firmino Origi

Its a weird that they given this game to Mike Dean. He hasnt reffed a Liverpool or Everton game in over 10 years being from the Wirral. Now he gets the derby. Bizarre to say the least.

Matip for Klavan is a no brainier.

Bad that Jagielka is out as he's been poor this season and usually has a stinker against defensively.

Massive couple of games coming up.

Win both and we put some distance between ourselves and city

Intresting that. Maybe he's now come out as a Tranmere fan?

Matip is 100 times the player Klavan is, and he's been out for 1 game. He'll walk straight back into the team if he's available.

And we won't play 3 at the back either.

I doubt if anyone doesn't think that Matip will start if fit.
It seems that some people are wondering if it should be Lovren or Klavan that makes way.
To be fair, after a near flawless one hundred and thirty five minutes from Klavan, it is a legitimate question

His lack of pace was evident a couple of times against Boro so I can see why Lovren will come in on that fact alone

Lovren is hardly Adnan Traore

Lovren got outpaced quite easily a few times as well.
Thought they both were excellent on Wednesday. Lovren will get the nod though as he and Matip have played a decent amount of games together now.

Those long balls against West Ham really worried me, he should be dealing with them better. I too think it'll be Lovren, but i'd rather Klavan.

Bit worried about this game.. don't think Everton are particularly good but perhaps it's the expected scrappiness and how our players respond to that I am not so sure about..

Bit worried about this game.. ......
Christ is there any game someone on here isn't 'really worried' about ? We could be playing Doncaster Belles and people would be biting nails and pulling out their hair.

Is it only me that's not worried who we play ? The way we are playing I feel confident BEFORE every match. It doesn't always work out but I'm sure I'm enjoying this season far more than some. I look forward to every match and they can't come around fast enough.

Not particularly a dig at you KHL.

We'll win 1-3.

I was feeling fine earlier in the season. But when the squad was stretched a bit due to injuries combined with the fact it seem to take a few weeks before the Klopp team start to gel again if to many changes I haven't been overconfident lately. We have a style that demands some work on the training field before everyone play well together. So in that respect we should be firing on all cylinders come monday. But then again the Derby is never straightforward.....

I wasn't worried prior to the Boro game.. WOOHOO!!

Anyways guess you have a point but what I am.. ehm.. cautious about then, is whether our players can handle the potential grittiness of that fixture.

But yeah I think we'll win.
