Ex-Liverpool players you can't stand

I'm going to ignore El- hadj Diouf he is the biggest cunt!
McMoneyman left Liverpool for Madrid, sort of set the template for betrayal. Now, if there's any conversation on Liverpool the shite is always present.
Owen, never use to piss me off. Even when he went to Madrid, we got £8m and even wished he would come back. However, as he has turned pundit, the fucker gets worse and worse
Neil Ruddock, he comes across as fake, trying to stay relevant.

My list isn't long.

I wouldn't say can't stand but the way Redknapp and McManaman have made a living out of the stating the obvious and offering zero insight, boring the hell out of me for the last decade or so, has made me search for our matches on channels with foreign languages at times.

Ruddock has his issues, but I don't mind him at all. Macca does my head in, not even because of the Madrid thing, but for his faux eloquence when commentating and the fucking irritating way he has to make up his own pronunciation of every players name. Owen was lovely when I met him, much better than how he comes across on TV.

As for the rest, Carragher gets on my nerves, he's pure cringe these days. Steve Nicol is drab and you'd swear he hates us, Lawro is a slime ball who was up to all kinds back in the day and has a massive chip on his shoulder about just about everything, there's not many players who left us who I hate, I think Alonso, Suarez etc all went on and did well and you have to just admire them for the fantastic footballers they were.

I don't particularly care about anyone.

With Owen I get the impression that when he's not talking about football he just sits staring into space.

I think there’s a line to be drawn between ex-players who still do stuff for the club and those who don’t. Every ex player I met while I was there was sound, and most of them were pretty humble and not up themselves. Mark Wright was a true gent and Luis Garcia, although I didn’t meet him personally, was very well-liked. He bought a biscuit factory in his home town to save it from bankruptcy and always brought loads of biscuits in for the staff whenever he visited. They were pretty decent too.
The ones who don’t have on-going links with the club are often tossera. That’s why we’re no longer in touch.

Surprised no one said Coutinho. I like him as Klopp said we would not got the signings we got that followed his departure

Stephen Warnock.

Why?
He seems the most sane and just talks. Unlike some pundits who need to make a song and dance about it and make it about themselves

Sometimes the Cara/GNev spats are too much. I enjoy them immensely because we are way better then them at the minute but carragher is lame.

I remember seeing Garcia as a pundit once years ago and it always stuck with me what a great bloke he seemed. Really interesting and intelligent too.

Just on this... The club have been fleecing people for 600 quid for a day at Anfield on the weekends we're not at home, and every week a few hundred idiots pay it, for their chance to meet a legend. Last week it was Mark Wright and Neil Mellor. I mean if you'd paid 600 quid for the equivalent of a school dinner and a tour around the training ground with Mark Wright and Neil Mellor being the court jesters you're hardly going to be thinking you got a good deal are you? Anyway, it got me thinking that the lads now earn so much that they're never coming back to do this kind of shit... I wonder what the club are gonna do in the future? Holograms?

He's another boring dope who states the very obvious. I suppose that's most of them, but it's pointless having him on.

I'm guessing because when he commentates on us, he's comes across as anti-Liverpool.

But when he does the ref watch, he's usually OK. Usually.

They could use local characters and people who have appeared in the crowd. Like the dude who pulled out his camera to take a photo when Gabby Agbonlahor fell over the hoarding or that person who makes up our Christmas time snowflakes. What's he called, Graham?

My problem with that is that they call them legends.
Everyone's a fucking legend nowadays.

"And joining us in the Slot lounge this week will be LFC legends Jon Newby and Zak Whitbread"

Right now the only ex-player who makes me want to switch off the telly is Redknapp.
