So yeah there's a game tomorrow.
Judging by the mood here most of you don't even seem bothered. Did the loss really sting that much?
We're gonna win the league FFS and this is another potential trophy to add to the stack.

Let's crush these plastic cunts.

Klopp offers injury update

So Joe Gomez and James Milner are back fit but no Naby Keita, Xherdan Shaqiri or Jordan Henderson to face Chelsea tomorrow...

I immediately thought of this game after Watford - nothing better after a stinging defeat than to quickly have another chance to put things right. A win over Chelsea would be sweet and much-needed right now.

Handing out a whipping would be pretty good right now, get back on track and all.

Wouldn't rest anyone. Need them on form going again before Madrid.

I would give Williams a chance in place of Trent and Minamino in place of Bobby. Other than that a full-strength team to start, Jones earmarked to come on for Minamino for the last 20-25 minutes. Adrian in goal, probably.

I would not put our best lads into this one, is it not for the kids to continue, with some squaddies?

Play the (majority) of the same team as the weekend to let them redeem themselves. the back line bar Lovren should be rested

There will probably be around 5/6 changes.

Mane minamino Salah
Jones lallana milner
Robbo vvd matip williams
Adrian

I was thinking along these lines, but this midfield looks too one-paced. I would go: Fabinho, Milner, Ox.

Nah. We mean business. A domestic double is at stake. Full Speed!!!
Yep. Our season would come to crashing halt as far as motivation is concerned if we go out of the CL (strong possibility the way we are playing) and FAC. We need to get back into the fast lane and this match offers that opportunity. Especially with Chelsea's season starting to crash too.

I don't get this love for Ox some are displaying, he has been as shite as everyone else recently. He gives the ball way a lot and what have his 'drives' produced ? I love his long range goals and we need more of them but we need more creativity and Ox isn't a creative player he's a battering ram. If Milner is ready, and Klopp says he is fit, then he replaces Ox. That won't up the creativity a great deal but will improve our possession and passing.

Gini ... Fabs ... Milner

We have to dig deep to look for more creativity. We know Keita has it but he's unfit, MM is an option for sure and this could be his time, he wasn't involved much vs Watford but was buzzing around between the lines (we need more of that) and Elliot is not a starter but has incredible vision for a 16 yo.
I'd have Jones ahead of Ox too. He has more in his locker and the only reason I don't see him Klopp regularly starting him ahead of Ox. is experience and not wanting to overload him at his young age.

A week ago you could have convinced me to give the kids another go, or at least a heavily rotated side. But now after the Atletico and Watford matches, I feel we need to recapture some momentum and the treble becomes more important.

Full strength for me.

Good team that, nearly did my head in that you started with the attackers.
Wasnt sure if I was experiencing some late acid flash backs and time moved backwards, or not.

Chelsea are missing their front 3, plus Kante and Christiansen. It's gonna be two strange lineups

Anyone had any team rumours?

Not a squeak.

I think either the person who (apparently) got decent intel has had his source plugged - or has stopped making good guesses - because I've not had anything interesting for ages, and nowt about this evening either.

Adrian, Williams, Matip, Lallana, Minamino and Origi are all but confirmed to start. Jones aswell probably.

Milner is supposed to be fit too.

I could see some/ most of that lot starting, but I wouldn't expect it to be any weirder.

Thing is, how the midfield is without Hendo I'd want Milner there, not as a LB. Would rather punt on Larouci or Lewis as LB, rest Robbo and see how we can get the midfield flowing again

I think we need to play our strongest team, they've had two weeks off. They've been shite since coming back with no fluidity and need to all play and get going again.
