Hers another reason to smash these cunts this weekend.

Normal allocation for away teams in the cup there is 9000, as there was for the Coventry game. For us, 5200.

Snidey fucking bastards. Worried we might make a bit of noise eh? Worked out another way to claw back the money you couldn't fleece off us, by allowing extra Arsenal fans in.

Fuck off Arsenal!

Not too many Arsenal fans wanted to go to the Coventry game.
Many will want to go to our game.

I believe this is the difference.

Yep. I see your point.
Anyway, according to the Echo, Coventry were also allocated only 5,100 tickets...

They made the game a Category B match, reducing ticket prices

Reds fans FA Cup dismay as Arsenal cut ticket allocation over 'safety issues'

The Reds have been handed just 5,168 tickets for the tie, which will take place at the Emirates on Sunday February 16.
FA Cup rules state that visiting teams have the right to apply for 15% of tickets for all ties prior to the semi-finals. Accordingly, Liverpool would have been entitled to 9,000 tickets for next Sunday's game.
Liverpool requested the full allocation, but were rejected by Arsenal following the advice of the London club's Safety Advisory Group.

.
Coventry City, who visited the Emirates in the fourth round last month, received an allocation of 5,100 tickets, though the League One club themselves refused the chance to apply for a further 3,500 over fears that TV scheduling may have led to unsold tickets.
.
.
Arsenal have already agreed, after dialogue with Liverpool and pressure from supporters, to make the tie a Category-B game, which means a maximum ticket price of £54 for visiting supporters, as opposed to the prices of £62-£96 charged for Category-A tickets.

Coventry were not allocated 5000 tickets, they only took up 5000 tickets. There's a subtle difference here.

They had a nearly 9000 allocation but because the away club has to bulk buy in blocks, they were worried they wouldn't sell them all - which given their financial situation is understandable.

We're in agreement - Arsenal are cunts... 😉

BTW - they refused Spurs application for 9,000 tickets too.

Norwegian, but you get the drift. The three supporter groups have sent a complaint together apparantly.

Their prices are sky high, but that's not news to anyway. There aren't any rules saying they should be a certain price. They are in a very good position of having an incredibly corporate & neutral friendly stadium in London and can charge these prices.. It is far move from the days of cheap tickets (which I never personally experienced) but its just supply & demand at the end of the day. They have kept increasing prices, and people have kept paying.

Why would Arsenal fans complain?

Most of the supporters groups are now working in tandem on most issues, it gets shit done & means in the reverse fixture they can expect the same backing should they need it.

Something SoS actually implemented, they do try to act in a unionist manner & have been urging other fan groups to do the same.

We're the only group of customers that regularly get treated like shit by all bodies in charge simply because they know we can't take our custom elsewhere & that the media coverage provides new customers to take our place easily. The only way to do anything about that is to use that media coverage to our advantage. Sadly the echo pulling that video of the Everton fans being crushed by the police before the derby, & the lawyers for South Yorkshire Police cuntstabulary still saying drunk fans caused the Hillsborough disaster, proves it's still the authorities who wield far too much influence.

That last bit needs a thread of its own. Utter fucking cunts, are going totally against the findings of the HIP.
