Crikey - just realised how soon this one was. Hope you don't mind me starting this one @The Nomad!

Obviously it's got to be a changed line up. I really hope we get Ramsey a chance to show if he's up to it

Correction - we've recalled Beck but he's injured and Bacjetic seems to be injured again

As long as you don't do the Premier league ones.. I'm taking credit for stopping the rot.
 
We don't have the depth to do wholesale changes. Sure, some kids will get minutes, but I expect more senior players than not.

I can’t even be arsed trying to get tickets for this game. That shows how much I care. I’ll still watch it though.

That’s probably a stronger side than expected but we don’t have a game for 5 days and that’s also at home so there’s no travelling. I wouldn’t risk Gomez as he needs to start RB against Burnley and keep Frimpong at RW.

Slot must show he is up for the Cup​

I think its more important our fringe players show they are up for the cup. This is at home which helps. Let's avenge the Plymouth disaster.

Let Chiesa, Nyoni, Rio, Ramsay, Gomez show why they should get more minutes in the first team. Let Lucky/Pinnington/Kone-Doherty/other U21 chaps show why they should get a place on the bench.

If we must, we can put likes of Macca, Gakpo on the bench. But we need to let these first 5 players at least all start and make their case.
 
I would also stock up on the bench. If Ekitike was narrowly out of the Arsenal game but ready then he will need some minutes in his legs. Others will need it to make sure their match readiness doesn’t fall. It is still a decent gap to the Burnley game.
