Pogba has made 48 appearances in all competitions for Manchester United this season

Paul Pogba's world-record transfer from Juventus to Manchester United last year is the subject of a Fifa inquiry.
Football's world governing body has written to the Premier League club "to seek clarification on the deal".
It is believed to concern who was involved in the £89.3m transfer, and how much money was paid to them.
A United spokesman said: "We do not comment on individual contracts. Fifa have had the documents since the transfer was concluded in August."
Pogba is in his second spell at Old Trafford, having left the club for Juventusfor £1.5m in 2012.
The France international first joined United from French side Le Havre in acrimonious circumstances in 2009.
He returned to the club last summer for a world-record fee of 105m euros.
United also agreed to pay Juventus 5m euros (£4.5m) in performance-related bonuses, and other costs, including 5m euros if Pogba signs a new contract.
When they confirmed the transfer, Juventus said the "economic effect" to their club was "about 72.6m euros"

£41m went (or is going, some is being paid in installments) to the agent, Mino.

Yeah. But it also cover his cost for the deal. Coffee at the airport, bus to Manchester city centre, flight tickets etc. It is not cheap all this stuff.

Especially if some of that Money is to be transferred to others. Who knows who owns the bank accounts at Cayman Island anyway, and what is transferred between them?

Twitter rumours that Mourinho pocketed half the agent payment
Oh if fucking only. There's no way that will be proven.

It's probably true, I'd be amazed if that isn't commonplace, but there's way too much money involved for it to be something that could be traced easily.

So, Juventus paid him to get the highest transfer fee possible.

Man Utd paid him to get the most acceptable terms for the deal possible.

Pogba paid him to get the highest wage possible.

So in effect, everyone's paying him to negotiate with himself.

The thing that puzzles me about Raiola is that he's Balotelli's agent as well. Why would you take that basket case on a client if you're already as rich as Raiola obv.is?

Presumably a client who is slightly mental, yet (by all accounts) is lacking basic arithmetic skills whilst earning a huge salary & occasional huge transfer fee is quite attractive to a sleaze ball agent.

Probably uses him as a tax write-off

Its a phenomenal job he's doing.

Massive conflict of interest too.

It's basically bungs isn't it.

"This is what you pay me or the deal doesn't happen".

Except he's getting all 3 parties to pay him.

By the looks of it he probably made more than Juventus or Pogba on the deal.

So at the end of the day, you know why ticket prices will never go down, because the more money that flows into the game from advertising, tv revenue, etc - the more it flows straight back out again and into the pockets of people like this.

The only way it would ever end is if transfer fees were scrapped & wages were capped.

Like that's ever going to happen.

Liverpool currently have a transfer ban implemented that prevents us from signing other English club’s Academy players, but we’re now involved in another kind of investigation.
We have no restrictions on the senior players we can buy (not that that’s made it any easier in recent years), but today it was revealed (via Football Leaks) that FIFA are checking our 2015 deal that brought Roberto Firmino to the club.

Seemingly out of nowhere, we bought the Brazilian from Hoffenheim in a deal that could eventually cost us £29m if clauses are met. After a tricky start, he’s been a revelation and is one of the first names on the team-sheet.
But Football Leaks (cited in the Mirror) claim his former club have only received £5.8m so far, with the rest going to Hoffenheim owner Dietmar Hopp’s company Transfair – who separated themselves from Hoffenheim just days after the deal…
There is no suggestion Liverpool have done anything wrong, thankfully – as a transfer ban this summer would ruin us!
FIFA are currently looking into Paul Pogba’s mammoth move to Manchester United, with the report suggesting the Frenchman’s agent Mino Raiola earned a barbaric £22.8million from Juventus and £16.39million from United for arranging the move.

"The Brazilian is on a basic wage of £68,085 a week at Liverpool, but has earned a staggering £1.1million in bonuses since his move.

Firmino's first five goals in a season land him £25,000, with goals 6-10 netting him £45,000 and 11-16 £65,000.

He has found the net on 12 occasions so far this term - if he reaches 16 goals each strike thereafter will bank him £85,000."

No wonder Klopp has moved him to the wings from upfront.

Yeah, he'd have 20 goals by now otherwise.
