He's been played to death this year in terms of minutes on the pitch and workrate on the pitch. Which is quite conveniently forgotten on this board. He was battered by the end of the season. He deserves it. I'm sure Klopp will have allowed it and will expect it to be reigned in pretty soon.
I've never cared so long as they do the business consistently on the pitch. The great Terry McDermott, for example, was a physical freak - he drank and partied for Britain, but he had more stamina than any other player I've seen, could run from one end of the pitch to the other all game, and was sober-sharp in the brain no matter what was still sloshing around in his stomach. If Firmino parties too hard then, in this day and age, it'll be noticed and someone will have a word, but the guy works himself into the ground every game and has to be practically forced to have a rest, so he should enjoy himself in the summer.
We live in a retarded culture! Supposedly sane adults photograph their lunch, ink their bodies with their inner thoughts, share their secrets with strangers, believe politics is a game and think Simon Cowell is important.
TBF in a lot of his insta videos he seems to be in the gym everyday with his 'entourage'. It looks like he has gone back home to see family. I haven't seen anything that makes me think he is going large, just having some fun. But I may have missed any of the 'shitfaced' ones.

Well it wasn´t the video from yesterday (did you see the whole video btw?) that I was referring to. I´m not judging him I´m just surprised he films himself beeing clearly drunk and singing for himself. On instagram. Live. Not just short videos. Long ones. Drinking and singing.
Seems odd to me. And remembering he was overweight when he came back for last pre season there´s a big chance it will happen again (it seems).
And it´s not just Firmino who puts strange videos on instagram, Lovren had a few strange one from Bangkok as well.

He's been done for drink driving and is now posting videos pissed, I'm not arsed what he does behind closed doors but it only takes one incident or poor form, for this to come back and bite him on the arse. And he shouldn't be drink driving, end of.

Strange how it is his own club' s fans who continue to come back and bite him for whatever reason if he has a poor game. And they dont even need to have seen him drink to do it. Do you really think this make any difference to socalled fans when he doesn't score for a few games in January?
So Firmino getting caught for driving under the influence (which you shouldnt do obviously), is worse then the continuous unprofessional behavior that Sakho showed towards the manager and his fellow teammates? I'm not sure I agree about that.

Err.. last time I checked, drink driving can kill people, I'm not sure what Sakho did comes close.
You are more moral than the substantial majority of employers. Plenty of companies fire employees for being a disruptive influence in the workplace, but these same companies will turn a blind eye to DUI offences committed in the employees private time, without a custodial sentence.
A few games in January? Ahahahaha.
