Class performance.

He needs to improve his finishing though. It was woeful.

It's good to see him finally adapting to the PL. His workrate upfront was exceptional.

He was brilliant today. He played like he hadnt a care in the world. Reminded me of Ronaldinho today just so controlled and cool. The three with Coutinho and Lallana is ridiculous.
When Henderson is fit, Jurgen has all kinds of problems.

Great performance, if only he could be a bit more lethal in front of goal

Nah. Milner - there's the bench, off you go.

It wasn't woeful, though I agree he should have had at least one more and could have had a three or four. Hart deserves credit because he had a great game and still conceded four !

He was brilliant today, had everything in his locker, the link up play between him and Coutinho was the best I've seen up top since the SAS partnership..

If he can add more goals to his game, he will become undroppable

Is Lallana Coutinhio Firmino going to be Klopp preferred front 3 moving forward ??.. Benteke on today's evidence from Firmino and Coutinho would be a better Plan B option, and a damn fine option from the bench to have too..

Studge when fit, would be a better option than Benteke to Start.. has more to his game

His finishing wasnt woeful though. Excellent performance.
Patience with new players is obviously not a bad thing...

I said it before.
He is Suarez's replacement, hopefully minus the biting.
I said as much two years ago in a "Suarez replacement thread". He has the hunger. The never say die attitude. Plus he's a silky swine who is much better in front of goal than he has shown in his time with us.

Tonight was a vintage Suarez in that first season here performance. Fantastic touch, tenacious work ethic and a great eye for the goal but some sloppy finishing.

Hopefully this is the start of his Liverpool career..

Really needs to work on that finishing. - Seriously - we all know he should have had a hatrick today - and we should have been 5-0 up at half time.

He has got everything in his locker that Suarez had in terms of skill.....but the difference is the attitude....Suarez's win at all cost attitude was blatantly visible. We will have to wait to see what Firmino is made off...may be he too has that fire in the belly.

Not bad, considering two months ago he was another 30m on top of Rodgers' other "terrible" signings.

Fickle fickle people...
But let's be honest here, another £30 mill on Rodger's is like a drop in the ocean.

It was 22 mill and if anyone called him a flop after 3 months then they're clueless.

The big difference is Rodgers played him out wide.

Typical of Martin Tyler, he was waffling so much during commentary he just ignored most of Firmino's tricks and touches. If it had been a gooner or a manc Tyler would have been doing that girly scream he's adopted these days. Lovely play, though - his technique is wonderful to watch.
