Frimjob

I would never think of buying a twix. If someone offered me one with a cup of tea, I'd take it. But that's about it. In fact, if they had a range of biscuits I would probably check out what else is on offer first, before picking the twix.

Fun fact: I've never bought a Twix in my entire life.
I also have a fun fact......I definetly don't have a twix wrapper in my pocket. They'd be one of the last I'd buy, but as if they are in someone's biscuit tim and they offer me it with a cup of tea, it will do the job.

Not sure why I picked a twix wrapper. Seemed a nostaglic choice.

Kinder cards is the one you want, followed by the oreo cream double stacked.

Twix is bland as fuck, bring back our topic bars and cease the production of all Twix bars.

I wouldn’t say Twix is my favourite, but it’s in rotation along with Marathon & Twirl.

Problem with Australia is you don’t get half the bars you do in the UK - so no Toffee Crisp, Yorkie, Lion Bar, Minstrels or the one I have a real soft spot for at the minute… Star Bar.

The only bonus is Whitakers, which is from NZ - nice blocks and their little peanut slabs and Almond Golds are fantastic.

Taking up the Snickers/Marathon thing… I’m still bemoaning the demise of the Texan Bar!!!

Minstrels are in most good Woolies.

Also in Australia vegetable oil is used more often than full cream milk as in the UK. I try to avoid buying Australian Cadbury's chocolate here if I can.

But all our steaks are superb prime Aussie beef!

Anyone remember Aztec bars? I loved those (rum & raisin with caramel) - used to nick one a day from the local paper shop when I was about 11!

Boosts are the best chocolate bar.

Boost sits on the Turkish Delight, Mars level.

They’re the Brentford or Bournemouth of choccies - they’re neither shite nor good!!!

Caramel Wafer bar
Hula hoops
Coca cola

Was my lunch when I was at college.

While driving to and from uni.
I'd have
Sensations Thai sweet chilli,
Lucozade sport
Jaffa cakes.

Now i look at any of those and put on a kg.

Other notable chocolate bars

Double decker

Just clocking in to hear the latest on Frimpong and its biscuits central, I love the galaxy digestives biscuits as for choccy bars it has to be a Star bar.

Digestive biscuits are surely the most overrated biscuit on the planet.

Chocolate hob knobs supreme.

In Ireland Cadburys make a delicious purple snack bar. That’s my no1

Good choice indeed.
Unfortunately, they now seem to be half the size they once were.

Picnic is a good choice.

Chocolate bars have obviously been getting smaller for years, it's their answer to inflation. They get to pretend they care about us while still covering their costs.

On a similar note, is anyone prepared to admit that processed food is nowhere near salty enough these days? I know it was ridiculously salty back in the day and it's not purely a bad thing, but almost every shitty food I buy now just doesn't taste of anything. I quite routinely add salt to the weirdest food now: potato cakes are the latest one lol. I've been going on about this for years but nobody else seems to have noticed.
