1-0 up (Hernandez, AGAIN !)

UGH, THEY ARE SOO GONNA WIN THE CHAMPIONS' LEAGUE !!

Anyway, here are Big Sam's thoughts,

"@TheBig_Sam: Nani Fanni on the pitch tonight. Rooney will be foaming at the mouth."

"@TheBig_Sam: Fuck sake Sam, what are you thinking? If Sir Alex finds out you made that remark about Rooney he'll make you bath the Da Silva twins again."

"@TheBig_Sam: Now I don't mind washing the twins, but one of them always shits in the tub and blames it on the other. They know it confuses and upsets me."

Jesus if Wilkins had his tongue further up Rooney arse he.d need surgical saw to remove it! Be fantastic if Marseille scored. Can't see it though 🙁

Taiwo looked alright. Wilkins is a retard, any ball hit over 30 yards in the air by united was hailed as an amazing pass regardless of the outcome.

Hernandez looks the real deal ... He is fucking always at the right place in the box ... Fucking ay - they've got themselves a star and he only cost 6 million ...

Chicpea reminds me alot of a young michael owen. Nippy, makes intelligent runs, good finisher and only has one thing on his mind...scoring goals.

themn - I know where you're coming from but I personally don't think they'll win it. IMO they don't have the quality to do so. They rode their luck alot and with better finishing Marseille should have beaten them last night. If they had played a Bayern or Barca, they would hve got smacked properly. But, like I said, I know where yo're coming from and you can never put it past these cunts to go on and win it. I guess it all depends on what the draw is like on Friday.

Which is why I wouldn't put it past the cunts to win it.

My attempt at a *reverse jinx* failed and I am left battered, bitter and broken.

Hernandez has been a brilliant signing.

But enough about that, didn't anyone watch the Bayern v Inter game?

It was brilliant end to end stuff. Bayern were really good and unlucky to go out.

I watched the Bayern V inter game. Good game, Ribery missing his chance when he was one on one with the keeper was the decisive moment of the game IMO.

I doubt that my opinion will mean that Utd now will win the CL...
Utd won't win the CL with that team, no way.

Once you make it to the knockout stages pretty much anything can happen.

True, but with the quality of the teams thats left and the way Utd are playing, I just doubt it.
Player for player lesser teams have won it in the past.
We should know.

Please don't tempt fate Hans.

Yeah and "giggsie"

Prick

Don't worry about them Hansern, somewhere out there a Real Madrid fan just said that there's no way Barca will win the CL.

It's evened out now.

Actually, I'd just about forgotten about that one. I thought the 3 on 2 they had in the 2nd half when they were still 3-1 up on aggregate was the decisive moment. They'll replay that attack for days I imagine - looked like they were too relaxed at that point with the belief they were over the line.

I think Keni is underplaying it hugely to say that Bayern were unlucky to go out - that was a tragic loss for them. Inter had 3 shots on target in the entire match and scored 3 times. I commented elsewhere that any Reds watching them would have been green with envy watching the potency they had out wide in Robben and Ribery. Those two ripped Inter to pieces and I must admit my thought that they were a favourite to win the whole thing was growing stronger for 60 minutes.

Seemingly forgotten in all the drama of the last 30 minutes is the fact that Eto'o was blatantly off side for Inter's first.

I can see your point, I just thought that If Ribery had of tucked that away it would of really knocked the stuffing out of Inter and Bayern would of ran rampant.
Ribery is a great player, although whatever happened to that story about him and a few other French players flying in an under-age prostitute for some sexy fun time? Were they not meant to be staring at some severe punishment for that?

Can't believe it's 7 years since Real have been in the quarters.

Whenever I think of Madrid, I just think of Yossi's header at the Bernabeu and 4-0 at Anfield.
