[/quote]Yeah, he broke his collar bone in a race in March so his training and preperation was fucked. Hes cycling basically as a team rider for the team leader but he wants to win a stage. I dont think he has a prayer if im honest. If he places in the top 20 overall he will probably compete in the tour de france, but more likely is that he cant cut it after 3 years out and packs it in shortly afterward. Basso is back in the hunt aswell after 2 year drug ban.
