His stats are impressive, but I think he needs a hell of a lot of chances to score, a bit like Andy Cole.

If we are getting a striker then it has to be someone like Aguero, who has more to his game than just finishing.

Good player, but not a great player - otherwise Real wouldn't be selling. Having said that they have released some serious talent of the last few years in Robben, Sneidjer and Van Der Vaart.

I didn't rate him when he first arrived either. I thought he was a bit one paced, an average finisher and didn't contribute much in terms of all round play.

He's come on a lot since then though. I remember when they just had no ideas against us a couple years ago, he was the only one that looked like a) he cared and b) he could actually do something.

so little that they took Adebayor on loan when Higuain got injured.
