For some reason, I upgraded to Tapatalk Pro a couple of years back, so don't have the ads. I think it was less than a euro then, but its about €17 now.
As far as I can see the only "advantage", other than the lack of ads, is that tapatalk rollout updates to free users first, so they can be their guinea pigs.
Presumably they've recently ramped up the ad content to drive more people to part with their cash for the pro version (as well as the obvious ad revenue)

Yep my Tapatalk is has been acting strange for a while. The menus are overlapping eachother and the ads are waaay too big.This is worse

Safari on my iPhone 6S is sound for using the forum.

Sound like you're using the desktop version instead of the mobile one? In Chrome, with the forum open, click settings and ensure that Desktop Site isn't ticked.
Have you tried Brave as a chrome alternative? Basically the same, but with built in ad blocking. The forum works perfectly on Brave.

I use mobile Chrome. Never scroll or zoom. Works and looks fine.
You're only aware of the small percentage who we've kept around due to serious explanatory mental deficiencies. We've actually banned dozens.

Yeah I subscribed to the pro version too... I wonder those getting obnoxious add in the lastest version of tapatalk, if you roll back to an older version if the same will happen? You can visit one of those "apk websites" to find older versions of tapatalk
