Anyone got any fancies?

I'm going to have a go with Silver By Nature for this one.

I think Surface To Air is a big price and could run well.

I backed Baby Run today. He crashed out at Cheltenham and would have won on the day.

Big Bucks won AGAIN today. 15 in a row now I think.

No idea who i'll do Saturday. Might do Character Building ew at 33's.

Aye brilliant. Horse of the year award in waiting again.

I'm going to back anything over 90/1 and then 1 decentish outsider

Ross, hurry up with the stats and elimanate some jobbers for us.
The stats and trends aren't as relevant any more since the handicapper felt he should change things up a bit. I only found our after last years race that he was giving better rated horses more of a chance.

I haven't looked yet but I'll be looking for something that has completed the course before, is at a decent price and maybe has run over hurdles this season to protect it's chase mark

I'm deciding between Oscar time, Silver by nature, Ballabriggs, Character buliding and Quinz.

Tenner ew on two of them.

Last of the big spenders eh.

It's not proving to be easy is it ?

I have five on the shortlist :

The Midnight Club
Backstage
Ballabriggs
Big Fella Thanks
Niche Market

I know, I know.. fuck it.

He'd be considered too old by most for the race, that and former winners rarely win it a second time.

His recent form is pretty bad too !

ahhh shucks, I thought he might be a bit too old, didn't know he was in bad form though 🙁

Isnt Oscar Time being ridden by an amateur? I think that would be enough to put me off.
Normally I'd agree but its the same amateur who won the Gold Cup a couple of weeks ago.

I've done three in it.

Silver by Nature, Arbor Supreme and Character Building

I watched his last race, he pulled up but I wouldn't be too concerned because all but two of the horses in the race did.

It was a 4m race at Newcastle - a proper test before a Grand National.

Cheers Ross. I've put it on now, 40/1 just seen better odds on betfair though.. It's a tough race to pick this one!

Got the top three! Not sure of the payout yet though.
Fan bloody tastic Mark!
I backed ballybriggs and won £28 but i put a total of £40 on bets today

Got Ballabriggs and won £40, and total bets of £19 so cant complain.

Worst part of race though is seeing the screen round felled horses. Horrible that.

I made 2 bets:

Big Fella Thanks to win £2
Ballabriggs to place £10

£50 spending money for this evening ;D

That's another pint I owe Ross. Cheers! About 25 quid up.

Well done Mark! I think some girl got the top three on the tele and was getting £1200 plus.

She got £1900 off a £1 bet!!

My cousin ( who Ross, Jon etc have met) backed Ballabriggs at 33/1 in Nov, 25/1 In Jan and 20/1 in Feb. Won £800 today, was a free nite out for me, happy days!

had a nice win again, put £30 on a 4 nags and won £75.

Nice to see the old usual stats come good after two shocking years of McCoy (who I assumed would never win and it was heavy) and the french outsider the year before.

Hope the usual stats continue, won 8 out of last 12 nationals
