It's no coincidence but Wilson is looking fair more assured in his natural position.

definitely. not been overly tested yet though

What do you think then, Keni?

I think you're right in that it says a lot about his opportunities at Liverpool currently, but I don't agree that if he was any good (or ambitious) he'd have sacked off youth internationals.

Iniesta played at every level for the national team and our very own Carra is the record holder for the England U-21's (or at least was at some point).

He should've probably angled for a loan / permanent move last summer though.

2-1

gulasci came out and couldn't get to it

yeah, i'd be hapy signing doni

ive come to the conclusion after watching the first half..

Kelly is immense.. what an engine
poulsen.. not a Liverpool player, playing at his level
Shelvey.. one for the future most definately, get him out on loan get him more game time
Pacheco or whatever his name is never going to be the player everyone expected him to be.
Gulcalsei going on loan ? Sell him i'd say...

Agree on all points, but would add that pacheco could still turn out to be very good, just not as good as everyone hoped

So you dont actually disagree with the original point at all then, you were just being contrary *gasp*.

The difference between Pach and both Carra and Iniesta, is that they'd already made their breakthrough into the first team - he hasnt, and isnt really stacking the deck in his own favour.

Pacheco wasnt ever good enough, and isnt now. If he really felt he was he would i) have prioritised getting into the matchday squad (let alone starting XI) or ii) demanded a move elsewhere

Championship player at best.. I have never been able to see what the fuss is about tbh

i'd also like add RE: n'gog I dunno I think we should hold on to him.. you can see he still has the potential. Whether he would make the grade at a top 4 club though is another matter

carra; pre-season, league match, cup match, european final - the intensity is always there.
had a go at jonjo for not chasing back quick enough after giving the ball away...in the first game of preseason.

yeah its really good to see

hope we get rid of ngog, he's shit and he's never getting any better, pacheco isnt great either, he could do a job for some top championship side/shit prem side

Carra started playing semi regularly for us, more than Pacheco has ever done in what, '96.

At a young age, I.E who gives a shite if he cant break through into the England mens team, he was playing for us semi regularly and was clearly capable.

Pacheco has done of that, bar playing for U-whatevers.

Dare I suggest, without looking, Iniesta and Xavi's cases will be very similar, if not identical.

I.E their talent was picked up at a young enough for their international involvement with u19s and whoever to be irrelevant as they were more than likely to be involved in the mens teams at some points in their careers?
